There are cases where GUI login stops working but telnet/ssh is fine. If you can't log in to telnet/ssh nor GUI, then you have to reset; reset button should suffice - hold until the lights change (~10-30s). Don't 30-30-30 an ARM router.

This patch makes it check for root's public SSH key and disables telnet if it finds one. I had try to reset the Router by pushing the Reset-Button on the rear - then the WLAN SSID is switched to the old original "NETGEAR". IP is also reset to stock (192.168.0.1).
